The Council for the Preservation of Rural England has drafted a special by-law. The Society for the Preservation of Nature Reserves, the British AssoCiation, the Commons 'and Footpaths Preser- vation Society, and the Federation' Of Rambling Clubs are all taking active steps. The London General Omnibus Company are-to be commended for affixing appeals to their cotintry, omnibusei. The final word rests with the County Councils. If they will strictly adininister the broader by-laws 'now being adopted, all may be well ; but there is no time to lose..
