Riding over the plain of La Mancha, Don Quixote catches sight of a line of pylons in the distance. A prize of £5, which may be divided, is offered for a conversation in which he explains their presence to an incredulous Sancho (Limit, 250 words.) Entries must be addressed to the Spectator, 99 Gower Street, W.C.1, in envelopes marked "Competition," and must be received not later than January 17th. Results will be published in the Spectator of January 26th.
