Robertson Nicoll, M.A.: (Hodder and Stonghton.)—No papers are more interesting than those is which Professor Sunday disousees "The Origin of the Christian Ministry," and in which the subject is continued by Professor Adolph Harnach, Professor Resdel Harris, the Rev. C. Gore, and the Rev. T. Macpherson. Other papers which may be mentioned in a volume which keeps up the reputation of its predecessors, are Dr. Alexander Maclaren'a on the Epistle to the Colossians and the Epistle to Philemon, Canon Westoott's on "The Revised Version of the New Testament," and a notice of Canon Westcott himself, by the Rev. W. H. Simms. The volume is orna- mented with an excellent portrait of the Canon, etched by Mr. H. Maness°.
