Sea shack

CHRISTOPHER HOLLIS

It is reported that a poll whether seamen should be allowed to take their wives to sea with them in the new containers has shown a majority in favour from the bachelors and a majority against from the married men.

I must go down to the seas again, for they sail with the turning tide.

And the call of the new container is not to be denied, And all I ask is to get a change from that crashing fellow-rover With his tall tales and his old jokes, when he's half-seas over.

I must go down to the seas again, to a cultured ladies life,

With a clean cloth and a table d'hôte and a polished fork and knife.

The married man with a. wife on board may feel a trifle harried, But it's quiet chat and a nice drink for those that are not married.
