We have received three monthly numbers of the Japan - Russia War

(Tanuma Publishing Company, Yokohama and Tokio). The text of the declaration of war, the story of the previous negotia- tions, the despatches from the seat of war, narratives of events, lists of casualties, are given ; while there are numerous illustra- tions in the way of portraits, photographs of ships, harbours, &o. The publication is one of the many proofs of Japanese promptitude and enterprise.
