Now that smokeless zones have made 'London air a little cleaner will you tell your Superintendents of Parks to plant more evergreen trees like Cedars of Lebanon (Cedrus Ulan!), Holm Oaks (Quercus Ilex) and Cork Oaks. Will you also tell me where I can get a Cedar of Lebanon for my own garden. The cones of few of these trees in ngland are fertile and there is the usual tale from nurserymen that 'there is no demand' and will I take a Cedrus Atlanticus Glaucus or Deodur neither of which I like.
