Honest broker?

'One broker summing up the general disillu- sion with the performance of the Heath gov- ernment said "There is nothing worse than being let down by your own side": Seeing this comment I telephoned three stock- brokers not one of whom had anything but praise for what the Prime Minister and his government were trying to do. Their gloom and that of the market was, they said, due to the self-immolating strikes by the trade unions against the Industrial Relations Bill. I should like Mr Anthony Harris to let us know where this mysterious broker works who is said to sum up general disillusion- ment. Perhaps in Manchester but not I should have thought on the London Stock Exchange.
