Fruit and Flowers

A SUPPLEMENT to the Royal Horticultural Society's Dictionary of Gardening in four volumes has been published by Oxford at the Clarendon Press (42s.), edited by Patrick M. Synge, MA, FLS. In order to keep the dictionary up to date it is intended to revise the supplement every five years. Part I of this volume has lists recommended by specialists of varieties of flower, fruit and vegetable divided into separate sections. Part II is a further list of additions and corrections and gives improved methods of dealing with pest and disease and many other recent discoveries.
