THE " SPECTATOR.")
Sin,—Through the generosity of your subscribers and the prompt way with which "Our Dumb Friends' League" came to the aid of the animals after the explosion and the valuable help of the voluntary workers organised by Mrs. Percy Sanger, the animals in the explosion area aro now being satisfactorily dealt with. It is hoped that part of the money eo generously subscribed will enable " Our Dumb Friends' League " to retain a representative in the neighbourhood for the next three weeks so that no animals may be ovarloOked.—I am, Sir, &c., ANN ST. JOHN PARTIlIDGII.
