The Chartist leaders have given notice of their intention to

persist hi as- sembling next Monday, in Bishop Bonner's Fields. Great precautions have been taken by the authorities; and it is expected that the demonstration will be unimportant.

Placards containing the Irish Confederates' proclamation, with Mr. Smith O'Brien's signature, have been extensively posted throughout London.
