VILLAGE SCHOOLS

Sta,—Why not improve the existing schools in such a way that teachers of the intelligent " human " type can feel a pride in working with neigh- bours, even though in small numbers? We are in danger of losing the fine qualities of character, which, in the past, have grown from the close contact of varied classes and occupations, blending home, school and work.
