Sir: I have been commissioned by Leslie Frewin Publishers Limited, to prepare an anthology of the best Catholic humour. I would be most grateful if your readers would send me their favourite Catholic jokes, with a particular emphasis on epigrams, witticisms and pithy sayings which have any connection to the doctrines, Practices and personalities of the Church.
