—With the exception of No.1, only one strain is allotted to each waltz. The transition of key from C to D (Nos. 3 and 4) is unusual, and con- trary to rule. There is a lack of originality displayed in each number.
Dreamland. Par E. Donajowski. (Simpson and Co.)—A want of experience is shown in the composition of this piece. There is little in it either to attract or advance the student.
