SIR,—Your correspondent, M. G. Schenk, is definitely wrong in asserting
against Mr. Christopher Hollis that the Netherlands "have not had a Roman Catholic Prime Minister since 1933." It is only a year or two ago since Dr. Beel resigned after being the second post-war Prime Minister, His party, the Catholic People's Party, has been for a life-time the largest party in our Parliament.—Yours, TH.
