A friend of the families of Manners and Forester contradicts

a re- port that the Marquis of Granby is to marry Miss Emily Forester ; but adds, that Lord Granby "is on the Continent, at the express desire and in compliance with the prudent and rational views of the Duke his father. In the meanwhile, Lord Granby's constituents may whistle for his services.
