to by Canon Teignmouth. Shore in the Spectator of May 6th was written by Izaak Walton of his second wife. His first wife was Rachel Floud, who died July 10th, 1640, by whom he had issue eight children, seven of whom died before his second marriage. It is a curious fact that in many biographies of Walton no mention is made of this marriage.—I am, Sir, &c., S. M.
