The Gazette of last night contained a proclamation summoning Parliament

to meet on Thursday, October 23rd. This is a little later than was expected, but it leaves a space of seven weeks before Christmas, and Government will not introduce any secondary work. Mr. Lowther, however, threatens obstruction.
