The World's Work.

We would draw special attention to Mr. J. W. Robertson Scott's excellent paper on "Country People's Clubs," con- taining information which correspondents of the Spectator are continually seeking. It will perhaps be news to many readers that there arc now 3,000 women's institutes and 1,000 men's clubs in the villages, and the number is rapidly growing. This great and beneficent movement deserves to be studied by pessimistic townsmen.
