The Sermon I want SIR,—I congratulate you on securing such

an excellent contribution to the Spectator as the one which appears in the last issue of the Spectator by C. L. Jacques. In my opinion he has hit the nail on the head as to what sermons should consisto-of, and I trust this issue of the Spectator will find itself in the possession of the preachers of today.
