SIR,—I cannot expect you to allow me to-comment at length upon Mr. Kellett's review of my book Is War Obsolete ? But I must correct his statement that I "hold that it would have been un-Christian to fail France and Belgium in their need." What I stated was that many of us in 1914 held this view. And this, in my own case at least, is a very different thing.—
