On Wednesday the Plumage Bill was read a second time

in the House of Commons. We are extremely glad that it has thus a new chance of becoming law. We greatly !egret, how- ever, to see that the Government have refused to give an under- taking to grant facilities for the Bill's final stage if it passes through Committee.
