From Mr John Gill Sir: Eleanor Mills's article (`Too busy to have babies', 9 September) was timely and quite shocking. These first-generation empowered ladies are cock-a-hoop. They will repent at leisure, as childless spinsters. No man worth his salt will be pre- pared to take on one of these.
