Sir: My 13-year-old daughter would like to point out to Auberon Waugh (Another voice, 26 November) that it is a nonsense to refer to a 'two-parent-but-no-children household'. Is 'piss-off really an explana- tion? And don't men also have a necessary biological function — to fertilise the ovum in order for the human species to survive — sports that we are?
