DAWN AT SUNDAYS RIVER. By F. E: Mills Young. (Hodder
and Stoughton. 7s. 6d. net.)—A novel about South Africa, where the heroine and her husband after the War buy an orange farm in order to make a livelihood. The physical difficulties of the climate are much complicated by a rather commonplace love story, but the book is worth reading for its lifelike description of the conditions which English emigrants will find when they try to join a band of pioneer settlers in the undeveloped regions of South Africa.
