Late Daffodils
We have all been enjoying our daffodils. They pass too quickly ; but if in any naturalisation scheme the wild daffodil and the double daffodil (found wild in a few places), are cunningly mixed with the Leedsii type, which multiply very rapidly in rough places, and especially with the pheasant-eye narcissus, which is late and long enduring, a good long season may be enjoyed, even in unfavourable conditions. The pheasant-eyes so far have won their race against the grasses.
