Memory lanes

Sir: Tom Pocock's article 'Demise of Fleet Street' (12 September) was outstanding. However, need he be so worried? Covent Garden is still the name for fruit and veg; others like Smithfield, Billingsgate, Hatton Garden etc will. still, admittedly with a certain age group, suggest their products.

I believe that the press will be called Fleet Street for a long time to come. David Page
