Radio 4
Sir: Thank you for publishing Mary Kenny's appreciation of, and plea for, the BBC's Radio 4 programme to continue in its present form. Is there no way in which pressure may be brought upon the Beeb and persuade it to leave well alone ?
For this family, Radios 3 and 4 are the only programmes listened to with pleasure and, sometimes, avidity, so I hope that you will join with us in crying bad cess upon those BBC 'reformers' and their unnecessary, unneeded and unwanted plans for mutilating the present Radio 4 programmes.
