Public din
Sir: One way of impeding the scourge of muzak (Letters, 12 November) is to make any reservation at a restaurant or hotel conditional upon the services being un- accompanied. Another, that guides and advertisements to such places must indi- cate its presence or absence; pub-guides would include juke boxes and television sets. Of two local supermarkets, by the way, the one without the din is by far the busier.
