SIR,—May I suggest that, when he writes about "grizzled:squirrels," Ian Niall must surely be referring to the north country. Living on a farm in Dorset, it is my experience that red squirrels are rarely, if ever, to be seen. Grey squirrels, on the other hand, are so common as to have become pestilent.
