" Paris, 30th June. "The telegraph announces that Zurbano had retired from Igualada to Cer- vera ; and it is believed that in withdrawing he was persuaded to order the Governor of Montjuich not to bombard. "Palencia has made its movement, and Valladolid. Cadiz alone had pro- claimed its intention of supporting the Regent. Troubles were feared at Cor- dova.

"There was Madrid news of the 25th.

"The Junta of Albaceta had fled at the approach of the Regent, and a battalion of the Regiment of Navarre at Valencia had quitted it to join the Regent; and a battalion of Albuera and one of cavalry were similarly disposed. There seems little doubt that Espartero will enter Valencia."
