HOSPITAL SUNDAY--JUNE 2. 2 [TO the Editor of the Sk - cricron.1

gra,—May I beg the generoaa Support of your readers for the fifty-seventh annual collection for our hospitals in London next Sunday ? The congregations of over 2,000 places of wor- ship will join hi this effort, but there are many people who are prevented, by one cause or another, from taking part, and it is to those that I would specially appeal to help to maintain London's incomparable hospitals.

All classes and all creeds benefit from their work, perhaps as patients—perhaps from the skill acquired at the hospitals by surgeons, doctors, and nurses. It is surely, therefore, the duty and privilege of all to help forward the good work.

New forms of treatment are constantly being discovered— many of them very expensive to apply. Let our gifts next Sunday enable the hospitals to continue to give the best available service. I will gladly receive and acknowledge any - sums sent to tile to be added to the fund.—! am, Sir, &c., KYNASTON STUDD, Lord Mayor, President and Treasurer Hospital Sunday Fund.
