The Dutchess of Kent's grand dinner-party, appointed for this day,
is post- poned in consequence of the sudden and serious illness of Sir John Conroy,
• with an attack, as we are informed, of the prevailing epidemic.—Morning

Cannot the Dutchess dine without Sir JOHN? It has since been stated, however, that it was the Dutchess's own malady which caused the postponement of the party. The fact is, these prowlers for the news of the Great are enormous asses : persons of no tact, they are frequently mystified—and were they lost altogether in fog or influenza, there would be no loss.
