It is hardly possible to criticise a book at once
so handsome and so matter-of-fact as An Account of Some of the Incised and Sepulchral Slabs of North-West Somersetshire. By R. W. Paul. (Pre- vost and Co.)—The paper and type are of the best, the descriptive letterpress is to the point, and the sometimes startling realism of the plates does the highest credit to Mr. Paul.
