DUKE OF WELLINGTON'S DUEL.
There is a report of a duel having been fought this morning be- tween the Duke of Wellington and Lord Falmouth. Another version is, that the duel was between the Duke and Lord Winchilsea ; that the Duke fired first, and that the ball went through the Earls coat. The Earl tb;ed in the air. The Duke im- mediately afterwards went down to Windsor.
A still later account says that Lord.Farnham was the challen- ger; and the challenge is said to have arisen out of a contradiction given by the Duke to some statement made by Lord Farnham in the House of Lords.
