A Romance of Lincoln's Inn. By Sarah Doudney. (S. W.
Partridge.)—There is not much to be said about this story. As a tale, it is poor ; but, as one expects in any work that comes from Miss Doudney's pen, it is well written. Briefly put, the subject is a girl showing herself unworthy of the true love which she has aroused, and meeting the due reward of her falsehood. Miss Doudney shows strength of mind in refusing to let Nellie off.
