Once again the figures of the Sun Life Assurance Company
of Canada for the past year have eclipsed previous records, the volume of new assurances being the largest in the history of the company. The actual total ofnew assurances effected was 1134,476,262, being an increase of over £43,809,000, bringing the total assurances in force to £493,404,870. The Premium Income was £21,666,326, being an increase of £4,566,323 over the previous year. The assets of the company show a gain of over £16,282,000, and now amount to £116,753,004. The undivided surplus, including Contingency Reserve, is £14,960,499.
