The Interlinear Bible, 1611 - 1885. (Cambridge University Press. 12s. 6d. net.)—This

volume shows in a new and convenient arrangement matter which is already familiar to students of the Bible. In fact, it displays the differences between the Authorised Version and the Revised at a glance. The words common to both are printed in large type. Where there is a difference this is set forth by two lines of smaller type, the upper exhibiting the Revised Version and the lower the Authorised Version. At the foot of the page are to be found the marginal alternatives of the two translations, similarly arranged. The publishers claim—and, it seems to us, with justice—that they have adopted the most effective method of carrying out their purpose.
