Nister. 7s. Gd.)—This is a charming book. The tales are skilfully managed, and the illustrations, six in colour and seventy in half-tone, by Mr. A. A. Dixon, are quite delightful. The "Runaway Couple" from The Holly Tree' may bo mentioned as particularly good. A better introduction to Dickens could not be.
