SIR.—In reviewing Dr. Daniel's Hundred Years of Archaeology tw weeks ago I referred to "Piggott's" Progress of Archaeology when I meant Casson's (published by Bell, 1914); I also omitted to mention two recent foreign books—I have not read them—when I called Dr. Daniel's " the only essay of its kind that sets out to meet the require- ments of the post-war present." I am sorry ; and I hope his twenty-line letter, exposing these two errors, will content your readers.—Yours
