We appear to have given countenance to an erroneous report

that the Ladies' Bazaar, in Rathbone Place, was under the superintendence of Mrs. Sidney Herbert. A letter from the Secretary of the institution requestsous to contradict the report, and points to the fact that the com- munications of the lady in superintendence have always been signed with her own initials, " M. A. Herbert." This is true.
