Paisley and porter
Sir: I was deeply moved by your touching little cameo 'Charity and dignity' (Notebook, July 10). It seems a great pity that the Rev Ian Paisley cannot be persuaded to preach such tolerance and charity to his followers; or perhaps those Irishmen, whose favourite pastime (after a glass of porter) is to cast stones, really do feel themselves without sin.
