Mr. Ayrton has withdrawn the Kensington Road Improvement Bill, under

which he proposed to give a slice of Hyde Park to a private company. Bringing it forward was no fault of his, poor man !—but he should remember that when Robespierre ceases to be the " Sea-Green Incorruptible" there is not much of him. However, after his speech about widows, he was awkwardly placed, and has done the best he could.
