SPACE FOR NEWS

SIR,—It is not in character that Mr. Randolph Churchill should resort to woolly phrases, devoid of clear meaning. Yet that is what he does in com- paring the Sunday Times and the Observer, when he writes of 'coloured editorial' and 'black and white editorial.'

Would he apply his judgment to telling us just how little space these newspapers devote to news? For that is still what we buy all this load of print for.
