The Queen held a Court at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, to receive an address from the Corporation of London congratulating her Majesty on the birth of her grandson. It was presented with the usual stately formalities. An address was also presented to the Prince Consort. Her Majesty held a Levee on Wednesday at St. James's Palace. It was the first of the season.
The Prince Consort went to Aldershott on Monday, and presented colours to the second battalion of the Thirteenth, or Prince Albert's Regiment of Light Infantry. The Queen has been to the Haymarket, and Covent Garden Theatres.
