The announcement that a new farce will be produced tonight at the Haymarket is the only event of the week connected with the central theatres.

Mr. James Anderson, who has recently returned from California, is starring at the National Standard, while Mr. King, known some years ago as a legitimate actor of subordinate parts, is now going through a series of leading Shaksperian characters, at the City of London.
