SIR,- - Trade benefits England, and the more goods we get and the. less goods we give for them the richer we are ; and if we owe more money than we are owed we have got credit

as well as goods and arc richer still.. •-

Stopping trade will make less trade; not more. Less trade and more taxes will make things worse, not better.

The trade stoppers would inflict on England a blockade in
