My College Days the Autobiography of an Old Student. Edited

Menzies Ferguson, M.A. (Alexander Gardner.)—The "Old Student" has to speak of Scotch Universities, Edinburgh, to wit, and St. Andrews; while he gives some impressions, gained as an outsider, of Oxford. We could have wished that dates had been added, at least occasionally. We found it somewhat difficult to get a clear idea of the "Old Student's" life. But there is much that is interesting and entertaining, some good stories, and generally a pleasant picture of a happy and busy life.
