Charles S. Robinson, D.D. (" Century " Company, New York ; T. F. Ilnwin, London.)—These lectures were delivered as sermons from the author's pulpit. And, unless we are mistaken, part at least of them has appeared in the Century Magazine. They are the result of careful study, and are full of interest, though the style is not ((effi- ciently direct and simple for our taste. Too much of the rhetoric of the pulpit clings to them.
