Cook's Tourist's Handbook in Switzerland. (Hodder and Stoughton.)— This is
a good book as far as it goes, and it is written with a certain liveliness of style. Of course it cannot pretend to compare with such handbooks as Murray, Baedeker, or Berlepsch-Kohl. Here and there it is scarcely up to the level of the time. Even mountains change, and anybody who expects to find the glacier at Rosenlani as this book describes it will be very much disappointed.
