John Drinkwater

Sir: The centenary of the birth of John Drinkwater, poet, dramatist and actor, occurs on 1 June this year. He was, of course, Barry Jackson's right-hand man at the opening of the Birmingham RepertorY Theatre in 1913. We propose to stage in June an exhibition devoted to his work and to this end are looking for the loan of original letters, play bills, and photographs. We should be glad to hear from any of your readers who may have suitable material.
